Air Force School Jammu strives for developing Physical, social, moral, intellectual and emotional development of the students and also it provides opportunities to develop creativity among students, encourage the students to work in groups and develop confidence, create awareness among the students to protect national and public property, to develop qualities of good citizenship among students, to develop scientific aptitude and attitude and to help in the progress of society and nation. Mrs. Shuchi Gupta is the Principal of the school. School has 1282 Students on the roll and has 66 well qualified teachers on its strength.

History

Air Force School Jammu, established in 1970 is being run under the aegis of IAF Educational & Cultural Society and is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. The School is co-educational, English medium and runs classes from LKG to 10+2 (Science, Commerce and Humanities stream). It has ensured exceptional board results year after year. School has strived to develop and consolidate a quality education system without any rank or gender bias.
